President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Mr. Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos as Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the minister of information and culture, made this announcement on September 21. In the beginning, the appointment is for a three-year term.
Mr. Dembos served as the NTA’s Executive Director of Marketing prior to his appointment. He has worked in the media for more than 20 years.
He has served as General Manager of two NTA Stations, in Lokoja and Kano; and as Zonal Director, NTA, Kaduna, among other appointments.
