Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Tuesday, April 10, arraigned the former Katsina state governor, Ibrahim Shema on a 24-count charge. The former governor who pleaded not guilty to the allegations filed against him was accused of financial misappropriation of local government funds amounting to N11.5 billion.

As at the time of filing this report, the case was stood down for 15 minutes and was being observed by the court before proceedings would continue.
