Information making the rounds has it that the kidnapped Dapchi girls have been released by members of the Boko Haram sect.
About 110 girls were kidnapped about a month ago though nobody claimed responsibilty for the attack, but it was widely suspected that the deadly Boko Haram members must have carried out the act, but unlike them, no comment nor video was released to that effect.
The news of the release of the Dapchi girls was reported to have happened on Wednesday, a day after there was speculation of their release.
Eye witness reported that the Dapchi girls were returned to the town by the terrorists who exchanged pleasantries with the community and no sign of guns or ammunitions were brought along by the group.
Though report also has it that about five of the Dapchi girls have died in the process.
There has been several reactions from the world over, but more revelation on their release will be know.
