Bella, a housemate from Big Brother Naija’s seventh season, is currently receiving backlash on the well-known microblogging website, Twitter, over a remark she made about Hermes.
On Friday night, Bella spoke with her colleagues Sheggz, Chichi, and Chomzy about Hermes and the reasons she thought he might not succeed on the show.
She claims that Hermes, who triumphed in the Head of House competition in the second episode of the series, is overconfident and believes he has a sizable fan base outside the house.

She remarked that it was about time Hermes lost some of his arrogance because winning challenges or being brilliant don’t guarantee a contestant will win the competition.
“Hermes is winning in the house and he thinks he has won in the outside world. He better bring his confidence down a little bit. If he wants to go to Level 2, let him go”, she said in part.
Bella’s remark sparked reactions from internet users, many of whom accused her of underestimating Hermes.
