Hector Bellerin reacts to Donald Trump being handed an Arsenal shirt by Piers Morgan after TV host asks US President to replace Arsene Wenger.
Hector Bellerin has offered his view on the club’s managerial position – stating emphatically that he does not want United States President Donald Trump in charge at the Emirates.
Piers Morgan called for Trump to replace Arsene Wenger as Arsenal manager because he could ‘build a strong defensive wall’.
The TV host teased Sunday’s world exclusive interview with the president with a photo uploaded to Twitter which showed the American billionaire’s name emblazoned on the back of an Arsenal home shirt.
The eventual successor to Wenger is always a heavily-debated topic for Arsenal supporters
The TV presenter has long called for Wenger to be replaced at the club after 14 years without a Premier League title, but Bellerin quickly shot down the Arsenal fan’s quirky managerial suggestion.
‘Hope he said no,’ wrote the right-back.
Bellerin has thrived under the tutelage of Wenger and he played a key role on Wednesday as they overcame Chelsea at the Emirates to reach the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.
