Innocent Idibia, a well renowned Nigerian musician popularly known as “2face or 2baba” recently made a statement on social media concerning his marriage.
2face Idibia is a multiple award-winning singer with a newly released song named “Kuku Google Am” which he released in November last year. He is also a father of seven (7) children from different mothers. The singer took to the internet in the early hours of Sunday 25th of January 2025, to talk about the end of his marriage to his wife Annie Macaulay Idibia, a well-known Nollywood actress and reality TV star, who he has been married over 12 years with two(2) daughters.
He made a post where he wrote;
“Hello to my beautiful people of all federations.
Well, this thing I have to say is short but long, Annie Macaulay and I have been separated for a while now and currently filed for a divorce. I would grant a press release soon to tell my story, not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life, but because I love my people and I need them to know my innocence or my offence. Stay blessed my people. I love you all”.
If 2Face makes an announcement at 10.00 am today that he wants 10 new baby mamas, there will be over 100 thousand applicants by 1:00 pm today. Toke might even be on that list.

While this statement is causing so much controversy on the internet with different opinions on the matter and some people saying it is unbelievably false, with speculations of a hacked account.
2baba further confirms his earlier post about his ongoing divorce was made by him following the reaction and disbelief from his fans, by proceeding to post a short video where he said;
Truly the couple might be getting a divorce as many stories and accusations have been formed from the statement and video, yet Annie Macaulay is yet to say a word, leaving her fans confused and sad at the news.
