Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has stepped in to support parents struggling with their children’s school fees as the 2025/2026 academic session begins.
In a heartfelt post on his official X and Instagram pages on Wednesday, September 24, Dakolo acknowledged the financial strain many families face at the start of each term.
“I know it’s school fee season, it’s not always easy, I know this first-hand. So, let me help lessen that burden a little bit,” he wrote.
He urged parents and guardians to forward their children’s school bills via Instagram to @TheOyindaOlu, assuring that receipts of payments made directly to schools would be sent back as proof.
“Just DM the school bill to @TheOyindaOlu on IG. We would DM you the receipt of what we sent to the school,” he added.
One parent, identified as @flawlessdazzol on X, confirmed receiving support from the artist, sharing her gratitude after Dakolo paid ₦50,000 towards her children’s fees.
“I can’t thank you enough for your generosity and kindness… You’ve lifted a huge burden off my shoulders, and I’m deeply grateful,” she wrote.
