Sammy West, brother to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been released on bail after his recent arrest that stirred wide online reactions.
According to reports, Sammy’s arrest was linked to a family dispute involving his brother-in-law, Senator Ned Nwoko, and Regina Daniels.
The incident gained public attention after actress Doris Ogala and others called for his release on social media, alleging that the situation had caused emotional distress to Regina and her mother, Rita Daniels.

In a recent update, Doris Ogala confirmed that Sammy has regained his freedom, sharing a video featuring herself, Rita Daniels, and actress Mercy Johnson. The news brought relief to fans who had closely followed the family issue.
His release marks a brief pause in the family tension that had drawn significant public interest online.
Recall Streetnet earlier reports this family dispute started after a released viral video in October in which Regina Daniels was seen accusing Nwoko of domestic violence.
However, Nwoko later pushed back, accusing members of Regina’s circle of drug use and saying he had raised concerns about behaviour in the household.
