Bwala mocks ADC, calls it ‘African Dramatists Congress’ over social media skits

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, has mocked members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), accusing them of churning out skits and comic content on social media rather than offering serious political direction.

Bwala, who sarcastically described the party as the “African Dramatists Congress,” said its members appear disconnected from reality and unable to clearly define their mission or vision.

In a post on X, the presidential aide suggested that the party would be better suited to the entertainment industry.

“African Dramatists Congress (ADC). They are all over the media supplying skits and funny content, claiming they are this and that when they cannot define what constitutes their mission and vision. Completely detached from reality. They should register Nollywood,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, a chieftain of the ADC and former senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, has fired back, warning that the party will continue to put pressure on President Tinubu.

Melaye made the remark in Abuja during a press conference organised by the National Forum of Legislators in ADC, accusing the president of being unconcerned about the worsening condition of the country.

He insisted that the ADC would remain vocal and continue to challenge the administration over what it described as the deteriorating state of the nation.
