…calls it first ‘official’ union
Nollywood actress and producer, Laide Bakare, has revealed plans to walk down the aisle again as she prepares for her third marriage, which she described as her first “official” union.
The actress made the disclosure in a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolade, where she said preparations for the wedding were already underway, although she did not reveal the date or the identity of her partner.
“I will soon be getting married officially for the first time ever,” she said.
Bakare, who has been married twice before, said this upcoming union feels different from her past experiences.

The actress was first married to US-based businessman Olumide Okufulure, with whom she has a daughter, Simi.
She later married Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo in 2012, a union that produced two sons but ended in separation following reports that her husband was declared wanted by the EFCC in 2014 over alleged financial crimes.
In a previous interview, Bakare had also hinted that she is open to marriage multiple times if past relationships do not work out.
