Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has once again opened up about her spiritual journey, sharing a powerful testimony from a recent evangelism outreach where she prayed for a schoolgirl she believed was under a “spirit of death.”
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Friday, Tonto Dikeh deliverance prayer came to life as she recounted the moment, which occurred shortly after she and her team had concluded a school outreach program.
The actress said she felt a troubling spiritual presence in the area, prompting immediate prayers from her and her team.
“Today, God allowed me to see a glimpse of the ministry He has placed upon my life. I was delivered from the marine world so that I may become an instrument in His hands to deliver others,” Tonto wrote.

She added: “As we were driving out after our evangelism at the school, I sensed a spirit of death hovering around the environment. I shared this with my team, and we began to pray. Within minutes, a young girl ran up to me, asking for prayer. Her friends encouraged her to speak, and she revealed that she had been seeing bats appearing around her repeatedly.”
During the outreach, Tonto Dikeh deliverance prayer was led by the actress and her team, who believe the spiritual attack was broken through the Holy Spirit.
“We began to pray, and the Holy Spirit took over. The presence and glory of God filled that moment. The spirit of death was confronted, the demonic attack was broken, and God’s power brought deliverance. The girl had also given her life to Christ previously, making the intervention timely and powerful. My team and I will be following up with her as the Lord continues His work in her life,” she said.
Tonto, who recently requested to be addressed as an evangelist rather than “King Tonto Dikeh,” said the experience marked only the beginning of God’s work through her ministry. She expressed gratitude to her spiritual mentors, including Jerry Eze and Eno Jerry, for guiding her team.
“God is only just beginning with us as a team. As the Word says: ‘Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.’ I sincerely honor and thank my spiritual father and mother for raising radical soldiers for God, women who are changing the narrative and advancing the Kingdom against darkness,” she added.
By the end of the outreach, the impact of Tonto Dikeh deliverance prayer was evident, with over 100 students reportedly giving their lives to Christ.
“All we can say is: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for everything You did today. God is reclaiming what belongs to Him — THE WORLD,” Tonto concluded.
