Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, has dismissed reports claiming he is planning to marry former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, describing the speculation as false and misleading.
The Pantami Aisha Buhari marriage rumour gained widespread attention after a supposed wedding invitation card began circulating on social media. The viral card suggested that Pantami and the widow of former President Muhammadu Buhari were set to tie the knot, although it contained no wedding date or verifiable details.
Reacting to the development during an interview with PRNigeria, Pantami firmly debunked the claim, stating that the story was baseless and completely impossible. He said he was shocked that such a narrative could be fabricated and widely shared.

According to him, the Pantami Aisha Buhari marriage speculation was particularly disturbing because of his close relationship with the late former president, whom he described as a father figure.
“Aisha Buhari is a mother to us. President Buhari was like a father to me and many others. Such a claim is not only false but impossible,” Pantami said.
He urged members of the public to disregard the viral invitation and warned against the dangers of spreading misinformation online. Pantami stressed that the Pantami Aisha Buhari marriage report had no basis in truth and should be ignored entirely.
The former minister also called on social media users to verify information before sharing, noting that false reports can cause unnecessary harm and confusion.
