World champion: 16-year-old Chrisland pupil beats 296,000 others to top Cambridge IGCSE english

Naomi Olayinka, a 16-year-old student of Chrisland High School, Ikeja, has emerged Top in the World in English as a Second Language (Speaking Endorsement) at the 2024 Cambridge Assessment International Education IGCSE.

Her exceptional performance placed her ahead of nearly 296,000 candidates from 4,581 schools across 140 countries, earning her one of the most prestigious honours in the global Cambridge examinations.

Naomi’s achievement follows her outstanding results in the June 2024 IGCSE exams, a feat that has now earned her international recognition from Cambridge Assessment International Education.
