Dangote Partners Honeywell International on Refinery Expansion to 1.4m bpd

Dangote Group has teamed up with global technology giant Honeywell International Inc. to support the next phase of expansion at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, aiming to reach a processing capacity of 1.4 million barrels per day by 2028.

In a statement, Dangote Group said the partnership will provide advanced refining technologies, specialised catalysts, and critical equipment to allow the refinery to process a wider range of crude grades while improving product quality and operational reliability.

Honeywell, a Fortune 100 industrial and technology conglomerate, has been a long-term partner through its UOP division, supplying proprietary refining systems, catalyst regeneration equipment, and high-performance heat exchangers since 2017.
