Rev. Fr. Bobbi Paschal, the Parish Priest of Saint Stephen’s Parish in Kushe Gugdu, Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, was abducted and killed by terrorists on Tuesday.
He was taken earlier in the day and later murdered by his captors, according to accounts shared by members of the Christian community who expressed shock over the attack.

One user mourning the incident wrote that the killing reflects the worsening violence targeting Christians in parts of the country. “There is an ongoing Christian genocide in Nigeria, & my people are running out of families,” the user said.
In another post, the mourner urged others not to stay silent in the face of repeated attacks: “My advice to you is to keep posting those receipts. Don’t allow anyone to gaslight you 💔.”
The Kaduna State Police Command has yet to issue an official statement on the killing.
