Christian Genocide: ‘I’ve conducted mass burial 70 times’ — Rev Dachomo

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a prominent cleric from Plateau State, says he has conducted more than 70 mass burials for victims of attacks targeted at Christians in Nigeria.

Speaking in an interview with a British journalist, Dachomo accused the Nigerian government of neglecting the continuous killings, which he described as coordinated and devastating. He said some of the incidents involved large-scale massacres.

“I have performed several genocide burials, more than 70 times. Some of the graves are five hundred and one people killed in just one night,” he said.

Dachomo claimed the government has downplayed many of the attacks, alleging that “the Islamic are controlling the government.”

He further alleged that Boko Haram was created by some high-ranking officials with the aim of removing former President Goodluck Jonathan from office and weakening Christian political influence.

According to him, “Many high-ranking government officials created Boko Haram to remove Goodluck Jonathan, who is a Christian. They caused riots in every village, and the people ran away; they were relocated. Their target is to kill the Christians because Goodluck is a Christian. That’s why Goodluck said ‘my blood is not worth it’.”
