Babafemi explained that Ejiofor, who operates boutiques in Lagos and Onitsha, ingested several pellets of cocaine and concealed additional wraps in his private parts. He said a total of 127 wraps weighing 1.388 kilograms were recovered after thorough observation.

He added that Ejiofor was kept under close monitoring until he excreted all the pellets.

Babafemi further stated that the arrest underscores NDLEA’s renewed commitment to tightening checks against drug smuggling through the nation’s airports.
