The structure housing the pupils collapsed on Saturday after the Friday afternoon downpour, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Several students were hurt, but no lives were lost, according to an eyewitness account.
According to the statement, pupils were successfully rescued by a rescue squad that included personnel from the security and fire service agencies, the health center, and the police.

According to the report, two of the rescued students were subsequently transferred to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital after initially being transported to the school’s health center.
According to the statement, “The management wishes the affected students a speedy recovery and commends the rescue team for their gallantry.”
