A Nigerian actress, Damilola Abidoye, has shared a disturbing photo of her two-year-old son who was allegedly flogged by his teacher at a school in Lagos.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share the post showing the boy’s back covered with scars from the teacher’s brutal flogging.
According to Abidoye who cried out to Nigerians to help her get justice for her child, the incident occurred at Front Marks Nursery and Primary School, at Savage street, in Orile-Iganmu area of Lagos State.
She wrote:
“I don’t know what our baby could have done for a teacher to beat him so badly like this. 2 years old boy.
“Please kindly help me to fight these people. Repost till it gets to the right place please. Help me for God’s sake Nigerians.”
The post has evoked series of reactions from social media users who believe the actress should have taken action before bringing the case to social media.
Some were of the opinion that as the mother of the brutalised boy, she doesn’t need to beg social media users to help her get justice, while others opined that she should have stormed the school with security operatives to arrest the teacher before taking to social media to share the story.
