A People’s Democratic Party agent has been arrested by security operatives for allegedly attempting to buy votes in the ongoing Osun State governorship election.
According to Punch, the agent had attempted to distribute money to voters at the Obada area of Ede in Ede Local Government Area.

Meanwhile, Sahara Reporters confirmed that the agents of the All Progressive Congress (APC) are inducing voters by buying their votes.
Before casting their votes, voters were directed to a house not far from the polling unit, covered with posters of Isiaka Oyetola, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

However, the recording could not be completed as the party agent became suspicious of SaharaReporters’ activities, so they told the voters to leave for the moment and return within the next one hour.
