
The acting President Professor Yemi Osinbajo has ordered the immediate termination of the appointment of DSS DG, Lawal Daura.
This was just as the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) dissociated itself from the blockade of the National Assembly by operatives of the DSS on Tuesday.
Senior Special Assistant on Media to Prof Osinbajo, Laolu Akande, made this known via his Twitter handle.

A release by Akande read: “The Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has directed the termination of the appointment of the Director-General, State Security Service, Lawal Musa Daura with immediate effect.
“Mr Daura has been directed to hand over to the most senior officer of the State Security Service until further notice.”
