Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has joined the league of defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
Tambuwal’s announcement came barely 24 hours after Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki, Kwara State governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, and former party spokesman, Bolaji Abdulahi, announced their defections to the PDP.
Tambuwal, like others, through a tweet, stated that after wide consultation especially with the Sokoto people, has gotten their support to forge ahead to his next political move.
I have consulted widely especially with the Sokoto people and they have confidently assured me of my next political move. I hereby defect officially to the @OfficialPDPNig.
