In a new twist of event, total of 14 All Progressives Congress (APC) senators have decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Senator Abdulaziz Nyako however opted for third force party, ADC.
Names of the senators include Sen Lanre Tejuoso, Sen. Shaaba Lafiagi, Sen Barnabas Gemade, Sen Dino Melaye, Sen Shittu, Sen Rafiu Ibrahim, Sen Shitu Ubali, Sen Isa Misau.
Others are Sen Sulaimon Hunkuyi, Sen Monsurat Sunmonu, Sen Mohammed Danbaba, Sen Bayern Nafada, Sen Suleiman Nazif, Sen Rabiu Kwankwaso, Sen Abdulazeez Murtala-Nyako.

It should be recalled that Senate President Bukola Saraki was on Tuesday morning prevented by security operatives from leaving his premises following an invitation from by the IGP on Tuesday to report to their headquarters to answer questions bordering on the Offa robbery.
Saraki however reportedly made his way through the watertight security and presides over Tuesday plenary.
The Senate was adjourned till September in what will be a long break amid looming political calculations.
