A couple on an extended vacation has died after they allegedly fell 100ft off a beach wall while taking selfies in Portugal.
The pair Louise Benson, and her partner, Michael Kearns, were taking pictures from a street overlooking the beach when they lost their balance and fell, local media reported.
The pair had been reportedly travelling for several months, including a trip to Southeast Asia, before the tragedy.

Their bodies were discovered by a beach cleaner in the coastal fishing and surfing town of Ericeira on Tuesday morning.
A local police chief said evidence gathered, including the discovery of a phone next to the cliff’s edge, led him to believe the couple fell while taking selfies between 1am and 6am, the Australian reports.
