The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has urged candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to print their examination notification slips ahead of the commencement of the exercise.
In a statement issued on Thursday by its Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, the board said the UTME will begin on April 16 across more than 900 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.
JAMB advised candidates to print their slips early to confirm their examination date, venue, and time, noting that the exams will be conducted over several days.
Candidates were also encouraged to familiarise themselves with their assigned centres in advance to avoid last-minute challenges. According to the board, each candidate has been given a specific schedule and is expected to arrive early for proper screening and accreditation.

The board further warned against any form of examination malpractice, stating that enhanced security measures have been put in place to ensure the integrity of the process. It added that strict sanctions would be applied to offenders, including candidates and CBT centre operators.
JAMB reiterated that candidates should visit its official website to print their slips and rely on verified information channels for updates regarding the examination.
