Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the ruling All Progressives Congress, visited former president Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja Wednesday night, August 30, as the 2023 elections drew closer.
News reporters were not given access to specifics of the visit.
In addition to his running mate, Senator Kashim Shetimma, Tinubu was joined by five APC governors, including the Governor of Plateau State and Director-General of his Presidential Campaign Council, Simon Lalong; the Governors of Ogun and Zamfara States; Bello Matawale of Zamfara; Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa; and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara States.
Last week, Tinubu also paid a visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
