A police Sergeant, Ndubuisi Okoro, who is an orderly to the Rivers State Commander of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Akin Fakorede, has been arrested for armed robbery and kidnapping, Scannews reports.
Reports said another operative of the state’s SARS, Sergeant Christopher Abakpa, was also arrested for armed robbery and kidnapping.
It was gathered that the two officers who run a kidnap and armed robbery gang of eight persons have confessed to the crime.

They have been detained at the SARS facility in Port Harcourt, awaiting transfer to Abuja for further investigations
It was further learnt that Sergeant Ndubuisi Okoro participated in the invasion of Rivers East Senatorial District Collation Centre alongside Akin Fakorede.
